Curious about what it’s like to explore beneath the surface? Join this introductory PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, created specifically for those who have never dived before. With guidance from licensed PADI instructors, you’ll learn the fundamentals of scuba in a relaxed, beginner-friendly environment before heading out for your very first ocean dive.
How the Experience Works
Your session begins with a brief 20-minute training video followed by hands-on instruction that covers the key skills and safety techniques you’ll need.
Once you’re comfortable, you’ll enter shallow water to practice breathing and movement until you feel ready for the real thing.
From there, you’ll embark on your first open-water adventure at Mangel Halto Reef, one of Aruba’s most beautiful and vibrant coastal dive locations. Expect clear water, colorful sea life, and an unforgettable introduction to the underwater world.
This program lasts approximately 3–4 hours and concludes with a Certificate of Completion to celebrate your first step into scuba diving.

Intro Session & Briefing (20 minutes)
Begin with an overview video from PADI and review beginner materials alongside your instructor. You’ll go over essential safety guidelines and introductory diving skills.
Knowledge Check (15 minutes)
Take a short assessment to confirm you understand the basics before entering the water.
Shallow-Water Practice (30–45 minutes)
Get comfortable in easy, waist-deep water while learning foundational scuba techniques under close supervision. This step helps you feel prepared for the ocean dive.
Reef Dive at Mangel Halto (45–60 minutes)
Enjoy your first open-water dive surrounded by colorful corals and lively reef creatures at Mangel Halto, one of Aruba’s most picturesque underwater sites.
Completion Certificate & Transport Back
Receive your official PADI Discover Scuba Diving recognition and relax with complimentary transportation back to your hotel or cruise port.
