We begin our private adventure at the Arikok Information Center, where the journey through Aruba’s natural wonders starts.
As we begin our walk from the Information Center, immerse yourself in the vibrant sounds of Arikok National Park’s birdlife. Listen to the melodic calls of local birds, such as the Wara Wara (Caracara), the Burrowing Owl (Shoco), and the Green Emerald or Topaz Hummingbird. Our expert guide will help you identify these unique species and introduce you to Aruba’s fascinating cacti and plant life.
At one of the highest points in the park, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the island. To the south, spot the Balashi Brewery and the Caribbean Sea, while to the north, you’ll see the distant windmills near Baby Beach, highlighting Aruba’s rugged beauty.
We’ll pause at a hilltop offering an even more spectacular view of Aruba’s northern coastline, allowing you to take in the stunning vistas before we descend toward the ocean.
On our way down, we’ll stop at the Hill of the Devil, where you’ll hear the legend behind its name. Nearby, observe a fascinating microclimate, showcasing Aruba’s surprising ecological diversity.
At this stop, close to the ocean, our guide will introduce you to a unique microclimate, where large cacti and resilient trees thrive despite the harsh north trade winds. Learn how ocean spray and wind-driven moisture naturally irrigate this area, creating an unexpected oasis amidst the rugged terrain.
Explore the ancient Fofoti trees, which have silently witnessed Aruba’s history for centuries. Here, we’ll take a refreshing break in the cool shade, enjoying drinks and fresh fruit—just as the Native Arawaks did centuries ago. Depending on the group, your guide may invite a moment of quiet reflection or a brief meditation to connect with nature.
A highlight of the tour, Conchi Natural Pool is a stunning rock formation shaped by the sea over thousands of years. Relax, swim, and snorkel in this secluded paradise, surrounded by the beauty of Aruba’s wild coast.
After Conchi, we’ll head to Moro Beach, known for its unique rock formation that resembles Aruba’s map. We’ll then explore the stunning dune area, a hidden gem within the park, offering a peaceful, scenic retreat.
Next, we’ll visit the Seagrape Forest, a rare and lush coastal grove that offers a striking contrast to Aruba’s rugged terrain.
Our final beach stop is Daimari Beach, a tranquil, palm-lined shore that features Aruba’s largest wild coconut tree farm, a perfect spot to unwind and take in the serene surroundings.
We return to the Arikok Visitor Center, where you’ll have the chance to explore the park’s exhibits, showcasing Aruba’s unique landscapes, wildlife, and cultural heritage.
After an exciting day of exploration, we’ll enjoy a delicious two-course meal at a local restaurant, featuring a soup and main dish before returning you to your hotel, leaving you with unforgettable memories of your Arikok & Snorkeling Adventure.
